Renal Arteriography
It is test that examines the artery vessels of the kidneys, using contrasta agent and X rays, the alternative name for this study is; renal angiography.
Reasons to carry out the exam:
- Renal stenosis (narrowing of sanguine vessels of the kidney).
- Blood clots.
- Aneurysm (dilation of the vein or of the artery).
- Renal illness.
The renal angiography can show the presence of tumors, narrowing of the artery or aneurysms (dilation of a vein or of an artery), sanguine clots or bled in the kidney.
Some additional affections under which is advised to carry out this exam are:
- Acute arterial occlusion of the kidney.
- Acute renal inadequacy.
- Renal ateroembolic Illness.
-Renal artery stenosis.
- Carcinoma of renal cells.
