Pelvic arteriogaphy and lower and upper extremities arteriography.
The lower extremity vascular pathologies in the eldest are
generally of arterial or veined origin. The chronicle arterial
pahtology is frequent and it is related to the appearance of acute
ischemia during its evolution. The veined pathology is acute
trombotic or it can be associated to an illness of post-flebítico
occurrence with its trophic consequences.
The diagnosis of the OALE (Obliterant arteriopathy of lower
extremities) is based on the clinical exam and in the vascular
images, these vascular images are obtained through an arterial study
of the affected extremity, using of x rays and contrast agent.
The extremities arteriography, either allows the study of the upper or lower extremities, being able to detect through it, blood clot disorders, clot sharp ischemia , stenosis, etc.
